Near Bleiburg thousands of visitors gather every year to remember the “Bleiburg Massacre”. In 1945 the Yugoslav Communists have committed a series of war crimes against the fascist troops of the State of Croatia. Today the commemoration is an important meeting place for supporters of the former Ustasha regime and other European neo-fascists.
